East Yorkshire and Grimsby | AGM and Julie Gill Quiz

CSSC East Yorkshire and Grimsby Area Association will be holding its Annual General Meeting on 28th March 2023 together with the Julie Gill Memorial Quiz.

The committee would like to invite members from the East Yorkshire and Grimsby Area to come along, meet your local volunteers and learn more about what CSSC can offer you locally and nationally. The AGM is also a great opportunity for you to put forward ideas of what you would like to see on offer, and importantly take part in the election of local Area Officers.

What to expect

The AGM is a friendly atmosphere, where you will receive a warm welcome from the volunteers who run the Area and get the opportunity to let them know what activities/events you might want to see in the year ahead.

It is a fantastic opportunity to get a better understanding of what’s available for you as a member in your Area, Region, and Nationally.

What's included

• Food will be provided, mid point during the quiz.

Please ensure you let us know the number of team members to ensure there is enough food (an individual can request up to 4 tickets but only one person will need to enter the whole team)

• A few selection of prizes

The main prize is the Julie Gill Memorial trophy. Which the winners can keep and display in their workplace, or mantle place until the following year.

• The AGM will start at 7pm

The Julie Gill Memorial Quiz, will take place directly after the AGM and is in memory of Julie Gill who was a member of the Area Association Committee.

The quiz is primarily for CSSC members but non members may take part. Maximum size of a team is 4 (where a minimum of two team members must be CSSC members).

A nominal entry fee of £1 per team member, which will be collected on the night. All proceeds will go to a local charity.
