Join us for our 2024 Winter Hill Walking trip to Fort William on the 24th February to the 2nd March.
This area offers various types of walking from scenic valley walks along Glen Nevis, climbing winter gullies to summiting snow-capped mountains. Fort William is in an ideal location with Ben Nevis on the doorstep, a short drive away from the Anoch Mor Ski area and the mountains above Glencoe.
Why should you go?
Enjoy meeting new friends and sharing experiences of walking in the great Scottish Highlands where the pace is set by the slowest team member and respect is given to varying levels of experience and capabilities in the group. This is our ethos.
If you have always wanted to experience the high mountains of Scotland but never felt experienced enough, then this week will give you an opportunity to visit the mountains with professional supervision.
We use qualified mountain leaders who will deliver skills training on winter hill walking, including the use of crampons and ice axes. Equally, a program of lower level less demanding walks will be on offer.
If you have experience walking in the Scottish Winter Mountains you will have the opportunity to suggest a walk to the leaders, or you may fancy trying some easy Winter Climbing, Snow Shoeing or spending a night in a Bothy.
