Event Information
A team can consist of a squad, but each match will involve four players, 2 pairs from each side.
No substitutions are allowed within a match once play has started.
Competition format will be round robin over 2 full days of tennis.
Entries
Entries open to CSSC members of all abilities who are age 50 or more in 2024.
If you are not part of a team but wish to take part in this event, please pay and register your interest on the CSSC booking page. Individual entries will be matched up to create a team.
The winners and runners-up of the Ladies and Men's team events will be presented with individual mementos, as well as the perpetual trophies.

You’ll receive an email confirmation from us, all you have to do is turn up and have fun.
Please note- During the online booking process you will be asked for information such as name, membership number, on the day of the event contact details and emergency contact information.
After the event, you are able to claim back your travel and reasonable expenses via the National Travel Policy (https://www.cssc.co.uk/national-travel-policy). To note, this event comes under category 2.

Tennis Grading
Level of play – Tennis A B C D E F
A You are approaching or playing at county standard.
B You are a regular team player in a league in higher divisions but are not currently county standard.
C You play regularly in a club/leisure centre in lower /middle divisions.
D You play at a club/leisure centre, but do not play in a club team.
E You have been playing a while but are not yet playing at any clubs.
F Just started playing and can hit the ball. You have a basic understanding of the rules.
