Skittles plus boccia & indoor curling are a great addition to our North East sports offering.
This is a fun social event open to all members of CSSC, regardless of ability, which is also being used as our skittles regional qualifier.

Games of skittles
Taster play boccia (optional)
Taster play indoor curling (optional)

Format:
Registration 13:00-13:15, play starts 13:15. Practice play is possible during registration.
Each turn starts with all 9 skittles standing and consists of three throws down the alley. The ball must be rolled the length of the alley and not thrown. You score a point for every skittle knocked down. If the first or second throw results in no skittles left standing, all 9 are reset, meaning the maximum score in one turn is 27.
The exact format of play will be confirmed on the day, we will ensure everyone gets plenty of games. The boccia & curling will run alongside the skittles as a fun taster option to try when not playing in a skittles game.
Prizes:
The top scoring players will be invited to represent the North East region at the CSSC National Skittles Finals in Cheltenham 1st June.
There will also be an award for:
£10 voucher for the highest scoring turn on the day (3 balls).
£10 voucher for the highest overall series (all games total).
Note: only one prize per person, prizes will be determined by a 1 ball shoot out if there is a tie.
