Madness are to take to the stage at Audley End in Essex for a huge outdoor show as part of the 2024 Heritage Live Concert series! Known for their energetic and lively live sets, Madness will headline on Friday 2nd August in the grounds of the stunning Audley End House & Gardens, nestled in the beautiful Essex countryside.
Expect a show teeming with hits from the nutty boys' unrivalled back catalogue along with songs from new album ‘Theatre of the Absurd Presents C'est la Vie’, which on Friday became the band’s first studio album to top the UK Album Charts. The show will see them joined by special guests Lightning Seeds and the Old Time Sailors.

A schedule will be confirmed closer to the time, but car parks will open from midday and the concert arena will open at 3pm.

There will be a wide variety of bars and artisan food traders on site, to purchase food and drink.
A picnic in a small rucksack is permitted. No alcohol, soft drinks, plastic water bottles, glass bottles or knives are permitted within the bag.
Alcohol and soft drinks must be purchased on-site.
You are allowed to bring in a camping chair and deck chairs will be available to hire on the evening at £10 each. However, please note that these cannot be placed in the front half of the concert field and are only to be used in the REAR of the ARENA. There will also be picnic benches and hay bales scattered around the rear edges of the concert arena.
We recommend pre-purchasing car parking before the day of the concert. OR car parking can be purchased on the day for £10 by cash only. Sat Nav postcode is CB11 4JF.
Car parks will open from midday (concert arena will open at 3pm). Car parking on the day will be busy so please allow up to 90mins for entering and leaving the car parks.
We recommend bringing a torch with you in case you need it on your way home.
As we cannot always rely on British weather, please make sure you have appropriate clothing fit for rain or shine. You are allowed to bring small umbrellas into the concert, but please be mindful of those around you when using them.
The concert arena is set within a natural environment with grass underfoot so please ensure appropriate footwear is worn – leave your high heels at home!
