Event information
Following the success of previous tenpin bowling event we are hoping to make this year’s event even bigger & better!
This is a fun social event open to all members of CSSC, regardless of ability, which is also being used as our regional qualifier.
What’s included?
The price has been subsidised by CSSC & includes:
• 3 games of bowling
• A meal
• A soft drink
• Freshly oiled lanes.
Entry Fee: £11.50 per member.
Prizes (based on the results of all NE & workplace association events):
• The winning pairs will be invited to represent the Northeast Region at the CSSC National Tenpin Bowling Final later in the year.
PLUS awards for:
• The winning team on scratch
• The winning team on handicap.
• The highest scoring game.
• The highest series (all three games total).
(Note: only one award per person, excluding those who make the regional team)
Registration:
17:45 for a 18:00 start
This is a pair’s event, individual entries are welcome as we will pair up single entries.
Additional Info:
To make the event accessible for more members across the Northeast we are holding the 2024 qualifier over several venues within the region on different dates/times to enable the maximum number of entries possible (North Shields / Sunderland / Newton Aycliffe / Cramlington). Due to the nature of bowling, there is no need for entrants to be in the same venue at the same time.
You will be ranked according to pairs scores & the teams going forward to nationals will be the top scoring scratch & handicap pairs when the results of all three venues are combined.
Bowlers are welcome to play at more than one venue, there is no longer any need to nominate in advance which venue’s results you would like to be used as your score when determining the regional team.
Participants are required to wear trainers or flat soled shoes. Shoe hire is available if required.
Closing date for entries is midday Monday 17/06/24.
