Running for Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Runners taking part on behalf of CSSC are requested to commit to fundraising for Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. We’d need you to commit to £180 for 10K participants and £250 for Half Marathon runners.

The money raised by each runner is hugely appreciated by Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. As a charity, the income Kew receives from donations is vital, accounting for a significant proportion of their income and will help secure the future not only of the gardens, but a global infrastructure of cutting-edge science and conservation work. RBG Kew’s aspiration is to end the extinction crisis and help create a world where nature is protected, valued by all and managed sustainably. Kew isn’t just a beautiful garden. They are an international plant science research powerhouse. As the global leader in plant conservation, RBG, Kew’s 350+ scientists are working to protect the biodiversity of the Earth’s ecosystems by understanding & conserving the world’s plant and fungal life; saving the plants & fungi that may one day save us.
