TWN | Walking Group - Elephant Trees & Doctors Gate

A lovely walk across the ridge to the 'iconic' Elephant trees with extensive views over Weardale and return over grouse moor and farm land.

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks.

The walk itself is relatively easy but has been classed as moderate because some tracks, although good surfaces, are uneven and have loose stones underfoot. There is one longish hill towards the end of the walk.
