A relatively easy but at times muddy walk around Bolam Lake and Shaftoe Crags
The walk itself is relatively easy but has been classed as moderate because some tracks, although good surfaces, are uneven and have loose stones underfoot.
Why not make a day of it and visit Belsay Hall and Gardens afterwards.
