Departing London Victoria station, this fabulous five hour journey on a steam hauled locomotive captures all the beauty of the Kent countryside to the dynamic beauty of the coast and the majestic White Cliffs of Dover.

What's included

Travel will be in a premium standard carriage with classic decor and comfortable seating around tables of four.

Please note that this is a non-dining experience, but included is complimentary tea and coffee.

Passengers can bring their own picnic hamper on board and can purchase items from the range of products from the buffet bar to top up as required. At the buffet bar there will be a selection of hot and cold snacks, champagne and a selection of wine, beer, spirits and cold drinks available to purchase.

Upon arrival at London Victoria station please check the information screens or ask a member of staff which platform your train will depart from. Please arrive early to ensure you have boarded the train before 10am departure.

Notes and restrictions

Dress code

There is no particular dress code in the standard premium carriage and temperatures can vary on the train (modern forms of climate control are not in use) so you are best to wear layers that can be added or removed as required.

Travel documents including boarding cards, passenger timings and any relevant itinerary information will be sent by email approximately 3 days before your departure date.

Route

Departing London Victoria station heading to the Kent border at Bromley.

Cutting eastwards this picturesque journey takes us through the North Downs, crossing the River Medway en route and heading out along the North Kent Coast before reaching Canterbury, climbing up the southernly tip of the Kent Downs before descending to meet the South Coast at Dover steaming beneath the famous White Cliffs alongside the Channel.

With a northwards run cutting across the heart of Kent to Tonbridge before passing through Sevenoaks on the way back to London Victoria.
