Hunts, Cambs & Beds Area CSSC is visiting the beautifully restored gardens of Wrest Park Mansion run by English Heritage. CSSC has an English Heritage offer open to all members, allowing free entry to this site. This listing includes only the small cost of the tour guide.
Join the garden expert on a guided tour of our magnificent gardens, showcasing French, Dutch, Italian and English styles side by side. Fancy French curves and bold Italian geometry provide an opportunity for contrast through our dynamic bedding displays. Discover hidden gems including an ornate marble fountain, the 18th century Bowling Green House and a striking Chinese Bridge and Temple. Stroll up the Long Water to the spectacular Archer Pavilion with its stunning interior making it the focal point of the gardens.
The guided tour of around one and half hours, starting at around 12.30pm
The tour will cover approximately a distance of half a mile on foot
The café will be open after the tour for refreshments
Members are welcome to explore the gardens and grounds before or after the guided tour. Parts of the mansion may be open. Please check Wrest Park’s website for details.

Each CSSC Member may purchase one CSSC Member priced ticket per unique CSSC membership number.
CSSC Member + Non-Member Guest ticket, entitles one member and one non-member to take part in the tour. If the member does not attend, full entry fees may apply.
Tickets will be handed out at the event.
