Meeting point

Please ensure you arrive 30 minutes before the time of your trip, this allows for time to park and get kitted out. The window of conditions for this trip is planned in advance and leaving late may result in the conditions potentially being unsuitable for the commencement of the paddle.

Please meet us at the Western UnderCliff, Royal Harbour Approach, CT11 9PH at the end of the A229. Take the last exit on the roundabout and through the tunnel heading towards the Ramsgate Port. Once you are through the tunnel please park by the slipway about halfway along the road. We will be there waiting for you.

Important Information

This is a physically demanding activity and requires a certain level of fitness in order to take part and enjoy the experience. Although it is not mandatory to have previous sea kayaking experience, we do ask that all paddlers have the physical fitness and confidence necessary to participate on a 3-hour paddle. This activity comes with assumed risks associated with sea kayaking so it is vital that all participants are fit and healthy on the day of the paddle to participate.

Canoe Wild are accredited under the Wise Scheme for wildlife preservation and protection, meaning that we follow all guidance and best practice to ensure our kayaking tours are run responsibly and have minimal impacts on the wildlife in the area.

Please note you have to be 18 years and over to participate in this event.

You must bring a charged mobile phone as it is required to be on the water with your paddle party as per our T&Cs, Canoe Wild will provide a dry bag to keep your phone safe.
