Join us for a tour of Saxbys Cider, based on a family farm in Farndish, a small village on the Northamptonshire/Bedfordshire border. Enjoy a welcome drink, a talk on the history of how Saxby’s Cider came to be, a tour of the cidery, a trailer ride round the orchards (weather dependent) and a tasting of the beautiful ciders.
Saxby’s grow their own apples in the orchards on the farm. These are carefully selected English cider varieties and dessert fruits which they slowly mature and expertly blend. The award-winning range of ciders are pressed on the farm using real cider and real fruit juices– no flavourings, syrups or nasties. All Saxby's ciders are naturally gluten-free and Vegan friendly.
About the tour
The tour lasts approximately 1½ to 2 hours. As the majority of the tour is located outside, please come equipped for the English weather. Also, there is some walking around the yard and orchard so sensible footwear is recommended.
Saxby's make their cider on the farm and the cider barns are not heated. The tour will also involve walking around the yard and a trailer ride around the orchard. The cider shop will be open at the end of the tour.
Please arrive at 15.45 for a welcome drink before the tour begins at 16.00 - you wouldn't want to miss your welcome drink!
