The walk is just north of Skipton and starts at Embsay Reservoir. The clockwise route will initially follow a path rising alongside Cookrise Wood, crossing a small stream and on towards two hillside war memorials (Rylstone Cross and the Obelisk).
From there we proceed along Burnsall & Thorpe Fell then loop down to Upper Barden Reservoir. Then onto Embsay Moor and up to Embsay Crag (the big hill you see at the start of the walk) before descending down back to the car park.
We will take short breaks as and when necessary with a longer lunch break at mid point.
The walk is of moderate difficulty and lead by walk leader Altaf Ali.
