Taking a tour ensures that you won't miss anything: all the highlights and many interesting, hidden details are included. The Botanic Garden tours focus on the history and development of the garden, especially the restored Edwardian garden, the houses and landscape features of particular interest.
The 16-acre Botanic Garden is one of the most diverse in the region, and includes: arboretum, herb garden woodland and herbaceous borders, rock gardens, water garden and parterre garden. In the Glasshouses there are alpine, desert, Mediterranean and tropical, also special collections of hardy fuchsia, conifers, peonies.
Throughout the tour, noteworthy plants are pointed out, together with information about their scientific and horticultural significance.

Bicycle racks are provided at the Garden entrance and car parking is available on the street.
