Further information

The Golf day and comp is for Women and Men. There is no requirement to enter the golf comp on the day, however if you choose to do so you will need an official handicap and a CDH number. If not entering the golf comp then it's a great chance to meet up with other CSSC members and enjoy a truly great sport.

To bring the qualifier in line with the National event the maximum handicap allowed for men is 28 and for ladies 36. Golfers with higher handicaps can play on the day, however this will be restricted to 28 and 36. Ladies qualifier will be over 18 holes played in the morning.

To qualify for the National Championships only golfers who have a current active EGU can take part and represent the Midlands region. Golfers can take part in the event itself, but without the above criteria can’t win the regional championships nor represent the region at the nationals.

Don’t forget that this event is also open to your friends or family members. Under our Linked membership scheme, up to three of your friends or family members can join CSSC and take part in our events. Membership is also available to staff working in the Public Sector such as NHS, local government, teachers, the police, fire fighters and HM Armed forces personnel.
