Scuba Diving Trip to Gozo 2024

Venue

Scuba Kings are the only centre on the island with their entire facilities on the seafront, which gives you somewhere great to hang out and enjoy your holiday. It also means you can just jump straight into the water for night dives, training and try dives, rather than spending your holiday time loading and unloading trucks to go somewhere.

The Accommodation is self catering apartments which are approved by the Maltese Tourist Authority (Government Licensed) and based in Marsalforn, there is a huge selection of fantastic restaurants and bars to choose from. Marsalforn Bay is also ideal for swimming or snorkelling, and there is also a new bus service that runs every hour to and from Ramla, one of Europe's best beaches, as well as historic Victoria; so there is plenty to do and see.

Background

With the island being only 1/3 of the size of Malta, nothing is far away. This is great for diving, if you are very unlucky and there are strong winds, sheltered conditions on the far side of the island are just a 20-minute drive away, always giving somewhere good to dive. Gozo has a wonderful climate, beaches and a rich heritage. English is the main language and cars drive on the left side of the road, giving Gozo a sense of home away from home for the British holidaymaker. Prices tend to be lower than in nearby Malta and Gozo remains a lot less built up. The pace of life is slower and the locals are extremely friendly and laid back. Overall, you will experience true island life and a real chance to get away from it all without the crowds.

So why come along?

Gozo is not a wild party island with nightclubs open all night, the island has it's share of nightclubs but they are up-market and sophisticated. Gozo is a relaxed place where the pace of life is slow and it is almost always sunny. Gozo is certainly like no other island, it is quirky and original. While it is a mecca for divers, it is also a fantastic place for a family holiday.
