Join The Manchester Area Association on a day out with a journey by steam train.

Our journey will combine the scenic grandeur of the Cumbrian Fells with the exposed Cumbrian coastline that skirts the western edge of the Lake District.
We journey down the West Coast Main Line to Carlisle, hauled by an electric locomotive. We then change to a steam engine to enjoy a tour from Carlisle back to Carnforth via the Cumbria Coast.
We return from Carnforth to London behind the electric locomotive once again.

Member First Class £140 per ticket
Non -member First Class £195 per ticket
Member Standard Class £80 per ticket

The train picks up at Crewe (9:20am) and Preston (10:15am).
Return at Crewe (20:25) and Preston (19:15)
The closing date for applications is 31st July or when tickets sell out.
CSSC Member may purchase one CSSC Member priced ticket per unique CSSC membership number. Non CSSC members or children are charged at the Non Member price.
