Join Head Gardener, Dan Hale for an exclusive volunteering day in the historic gardens at Brodsworth Hall!
Dan has worked at Brodsworth for nine years, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn from him, first hand, about the work that has gone into restoring one of the finest Victorian gardens in the country. You’ll support him with the crucial work that he and his team undertake each season, in this instance, removing summer bedding to prepare for winter planting.
The day is between 10am-3pm and members will have the chance to explore the house after the day finishes. Immerse yourself in nature and make a tangible difference!
Spectacularly restored to their full Victorian splendour, the gardens are home to a collection of grand gardens in miniature, filled with colourful seasonal plantings and displays.
10 am – A morning of light working in the gardens, with a warm welcome from the Head Gardener
12 – 1 pm – Please bring a packed lunch or the café onsite will be open.
3 pm Day finishes, please feel to explore the house after your day finishes
We recommend sturdy footwear and outdoor, warm clothing for helping out in the gardens. Joining instructions will be sent through a week before the event.
