11:00 - Proceed to activity area and take part in conservation activity.
13:00 - Lunch (please bring a packed lunch).
14:00 - Return to activity area to continue conservation activity.
15:30 - Round up, then free time to explore the reserve or head home
WWT volunteering days are a great opportunity to try something new and interesting in a fun and safe environment. You’ll be helping with real wetland conservation work, creating, enhancing and restoring wetlands for wildlife and people. The range of activities are led by experienced WWT staff, and are chosen depending on the seasonal needs at our centres.
Please note that conservation activities are be subject to change due to the weather, environmental considerations and reserve priorities. Please come prepared in outdoor clothes suitable for the weather and temperature, and outdoor footwear that you don't mind getting wet, muddy or paint splattered (walking boots, wellies or old trainers are all suitable unless otherwise advised). Please let us know about any accessibility requirements in your team in advance, as most tasks on our reserves require physical labour and we will need to plan ahead and make adjustment.
