Are you ready to get hands-on and dive into the world of horticulture? Join us on an exclusive CSSC volunteering day at Kew Gardens to make a difference.
Throughout the day, you will work alongside a Kew expert, gaining insight into a day in the life of a Kew Horticulturist. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just discovering your green thumb, there’s a place for you on our exclusive volunteering day, with only 20 member spaces available!
You will be working in the Arboretum where 14,000 trees are rooted and represent more than 2,000 species, including rare and ancient varieties. This great collection contains trees as old as the Gardens themselves, many that cannot be found anywhere else in Britain. Tasks may include weeding, mulching and the removal of invasive species.
9.15 am – Arrival at Kew Gardens. Victoria Gate, TW9 3JR - we recommend public transport.
12.00 pm – Lunch (please bring along a packed lunch and water).
3 pm – Day finishes.

One ticket per member.
The gardening work may be physical with weeding or mulching so we recommend sturdy footwear and appropriate outdoor clothing. Joining instructions will be sent through a week before the event.
