This is a one day training course to help you provide great led walks for your CSSC community or workplace.
It covers good practice guidance and ideas on
How to choose and plan a suitable route that is interesting and attractive
How to ensure the route is safe and comfortable for your walking group

The course is free of charge (travel expenses will also be covered), however, there are some expectation of learners
You must agree to become a CSSC Volunteer Walk Leader
We expect that you would be willing to organise and lead at least three walks annually. These must be open to CSSC members or a specific workplace and follow CSSC event organisation policy, processes and procedures
You are able to only book one place per CSSC member
The day includes a 45 minute training walk so please ensure you have suitable clothing and footwear.
Please arrive for 9.15am for a 9:30am start
The training is expected to finish around 4pm
