Join us for a private guided tour of the infamous vaults hidden under the South Bridge in Edinburgh’s Old Town.
Our guide at Auld Reekie Tours will enlighten you on the dark history of Old Town Edinburgh’s most extensive haunted underground vaults that date back to the 1700s, former slum dwellings and home to the wretched and destitute, as well as a despicable criminal underworld. With gruesome devices dating back to the late 1500s, Visit our medieval torture exhibition to see instruments similar to those used in Edinburgh’s history and find out how and why they were used. On this walking tour you’ll also hear tales of the paranormal activity and ghostly apparitions that are said to haunt the vaults and view a former wiccan coven preserved as its previous occupants left it.
