Tales from beyond the Grave - Murders, Mysteries and Ghosts
Clitheroe Castle, perched proudly on the limestone mound overlooking the town with stone built keep, was a Royalist Garrison during the civil war. This busy market town and the surrounding countryside holds plenty of chilling secret tales - Pendle’s Old Demdike witches from 1612 trials, ghostly secrets, murders and suicide unrest.
Join us for a guided 2 hour evening walk listening to Top Hat tour guide Simon Entwistle, Lancashire’s much-loved storyteller and award-winning historian. As we explore the town, Simon will have a great number of frightening fables and fascinating ghostly goings on to regale you with.
