A festive cycle ride in one of the most scenic areas of the Peak District at Ladybower reservoir.
The ride will be led by qualified and experienced cycling instructors.
It will be a maximum of 27 kilometers in a figure if 8 so we can have a break/drink or people can do a shorter distance if needed.
This is a social ride, we ride at a leisurely pace to allow time for a conversation rather than going fast.
This will mainly be on quiet lanes with a short main road, pavement over the Ashopton Viaduct.
Route not suitable for road bikes.
Cycle ride will be guided by qualified and experienced cycling instructor.
You will need to bring your own bike but there is also cycle hire available at the Cycle Centre near Fairholmes for £25.
You will need to bring refreshments with you or there may be opportunity to purchase these along the route.

Cycling can involve managed risk. A medical form must be completed and and forwarded online before the event or as a last resort handed to the activity leader before partaking in any event.
Participants will need to bring their own lunch/refreshments, although there may be opportunity to buy light refreshments along the way.
Participants will also need to ensure they are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear to suit weather conditions and terrain.
There is no minimum age, however all under 18 year's of age who attend must be accompanied by a parents or guardians who is participating in the cycling.
People will need to make their own journey to the starting point, for 10.30am start at the Cycle Hire shop.
Parking is available at the station car park for a fee or on-street parking is available nearby.
