ZSL is a global science-led conservation organisation that helps people and wildlife live better together to restore the wonder and diversity of life everywhere. There are two ZSL zoos, London Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo, where you can get closer to nature and see amazing animals and wildlife!
The Zookeepers at ZSL play a vital role in both the well-being and daily care of the animals. Every day, zookeepers ensure that animals receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs and provide enrichment activities that stimulate their natural behaviours. The keepers’ workload can also include doing regular health checks, designing enclosures, and cleaning out the enclosures.
