Scouse Comedy Takeover at Liverpool Irish Centre

Another night of mighty craic for a memorable night of stand-up comedy featuring some of Liverpool's funniest comics for the 'Scouse' Comedy Takeover.

All comics will be from Liverpool & not just 'identifies' as a Scouser, because their mum was originally from Liverpool & they're from Runcorn . That's simply a Wool!

Rob Thomas headlines

Rob is a charming and relatable comedian known for his engaging storytelling and unexpected punchlines. His humorous anecdotes captivate audiences, leaving them in stitches. As a lovable and larger-than-life Scouser, his down-to-earth, demeanor adds to his appeal. With places in the final of some of the most prestigious new act awards, Rob has now established himself a brilliant comedian working for some of the biggest names in comedy. Rob, recently provided tour support for Liverpool's Paul Smith and opened the show at the M&S arena, in front of an audience of more than 8,000!!

Jamie Sutherland Opener

Liverpool has a history for producing some of the countries finest comedy talent, and Jamie Sutherland can now be added to that fine list. A headline act on the comedy circuit, working for some of the countries finest clubs. Jamie has gained a reputation with his fellow comedians and sell-out audiences, as one of the rising stars of comedy. A very original act, who will keep you amused with gags, tales, and stories. Jamie is a modern act, with many observational topics, and up to date material, ensuring his hilarious performances touches everyone’s buttons.

Host: Mark Devine  Just 2-years in, Mark is still 'Relatively new to stand up. However, he has confidence of a seasoned performer with his funny stories & anecdotes about his life' Allan Finnegan BGT semi finalist. 'Mark at the Bijou, Southport delivered a very solid performance. He gets better every time I see him' Kevin O'Brien - Comedy Gold.

AJ Rohan burst onto the North West Comedy circuit in 2021 and has been a rising star ever since. AJ is cheeky, and sassy, carrying great confidence throughout his set. AJ navigates you through his life as a gay man in Britain, from unique observations, his relationship with his mother, and his own coming out. AJ recently won his heat of Hot Water Comedian of The Year and is one to watch on the UK Comedy Circuit.

Sam Walton - It is hard to believe, she is in her first year as a stand-up comedian. Sam is a professional actress with a background in comedy Improv! She's candid and cocky, yet charming and very likeable. Sam was a runner up for Southport's 8 mile best new comedian of 2024 competition!

Mark Quinn - Relatively new to stand-up comedy, Mark brings his original well crafted jokes & style to many bars & clubs across the Northwest, leaving audiences holding their aching sides with laughter.

Minimum age is 16 due to adult themed humour.

There is a free carpark and the centre is wheelchair accessible.

Late bar - midnight, last orders and pocket friendly. Also, an Irish shop for all your goodies.

The promoters reserves the right to make line-up changes and replace comics as when required.

Refunds will only be made in the unlikely event the show is cancelled.

You will not be sent a paper ticket, or QR Code - your name and membership number will be placed on the Comedy Night guest list, therefore you may be asked to provide proof of your CSSC membership.

The location is a few minute drive from Liverpool, Lime street station.
